Our standard

We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.2 at level AA across distil.one.

What we have done

• Text and interface colours meet contrast requirements against the dark background.
• Every page works with a keyboard, with a visible focus indicator and a skip link.
• Tabs, panels and menus use standard roles so screen readers announce them correctly.
• Animation stops, and the home page shows a still image, when your device asks for reduced motion.
• Every chart element in the sample signal room has a text label, and every image has a text alternative.

Known limitations

• Some charts in the sample signal room use colour to separate candidates. The same values are available as text in tooltips and in the panel that opens when you select an element.
• Sample dashboards on other Distil domains are prototypes and may not yet meet the same standard.
